Events

dgm host some great team events over the years, here’s a sample of a few;

dgm 7th Birthday - beachy croquet! Combining two great activities, lunch on a warm sunny day in Manly followed by a game of croquet.  dgmers showed their competitive sides and creative spirits with a particularly lively and passionate game.  The croquet green hasn’t seen that much activity in years!

dgm Sports Day March 2010 - The dgm team wore a splash of house colour for a Friday afternoon of sporting fun! Traditional school races such as three leg race, egg & spoon, wheel barrow and tug of war were played and the competition was fierce but friendly! Teams were asked to create a fun team name – the Lean Green Bogey Machine were winners on the day.

Christmas 09 - dgm’s Class of 09 was ‘Wanted’ at the Wild West Christmas event, Dec 09! The call was out to come dressed in Western theme as the team headed down to Kangaroo Valley! Keeping with dgm tradition, a visit from Bad Santa is a must, but the main ‘hoe-down’ was a cracker! The evenings dance party had dgm’s resident DJ’s in full swing plus a lazer and light show to keep us going until the wee hours.

Melbourne Cup 2009 – a dgm cultural tradition, the team were transported by water taxi to Woolwich Pier Hotel for a fabulous Melb Cup luncheon. The dgm ladies & gents turned up in their finest whilst Sydney turned up the heat!

dgm 6th Birthday, was celebrated with sushi lunch followed by Ashes cricket! (Aussie’s won!)

Christmas 08 – water taxi pick-up to bbq beach fun with kayaking in middle harbor followed by ‘Clonney Beach Survivor’. A visit from bad Santa is the day’s highlight!

dgm’s 5th Birthday – dress as your favourite rock star, board the Brit Bus tour for sushi & sake followed by Karaoke action to the wee hours of the morning!

Melbourne Cup – everyone’s a winner with the race that stops a nation! Our team doesn’t miss out on sweep cash prizes and a bbq lunch on our rooftop.

Tour de Pyrmont – the team set out on a designed treasure hunt in the Pyrmont area, loaded with quizzes and clues, to co-inside with the Tour de France of course!

Awards – we enjoy attending industry award nights, especially when dgm win! Here are some glam team members at the IAB awards night when we won the inaugural Search award, 2008!
