Human Resources Manager

Due to increasing growth and expansion, dgm, Australia’s leading Online Marketing agency, are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team in this newly created role. 

The role of the Human Resources Manager is to provide an end-to-end “people service” to all Employees and the Management Team for Australia and New Zealand in key areas of Human Resources including attraction and selection, employee relations, talent management, employment law, HR legal compliance, health & safety, compensation & benefits, policy recommendation, Human Resources strategic planning and implementation. The broad scope of the role will have a generalist HR background, operational management experience is preferred. 

We are seeking an individual who will continue to build on the strong People culture of the company in order to maintain the strength in employee relations and retention and meet the Company’s business results.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• At least 5 years of work experience in a HR generalist role, experience in the digital/advertising industry preferred
• A Human Resources degree and relevant certifications, preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Australian and New Zealand federal employment legislation and statutory requirements
• Experience working in small to medium sized operation or a startup company
• Experience working in a small HR Team with the ability to take on multiple HR and people related responsibilities
• A strong people person with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to  develop and nurture the company culture
• Team player who can work collaboratively across the Company to deliver business results
• A strong communicator who works well under pressure
• Persuasive and able to make sound judgments
• Self-motivated and driven
• Strong interpersonal skills

Finance Manager

Due to increasing growth and expansion, dgm, Australia’s leading Online Marketing agency, are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team in this newly created role. 
Key Responsibilities include the following:

• To maintain general ledger and related systems
• To be wholly responsible for cash management
• To provide monthly management accounts with analysis to the management team  and to the head office for consolidation
• Liaising with auditors during interim reviews and statutory audits
• To be responsible for preparation of year end audited accounts
• To ensure all tax returns including payroll tax, BAS and annual corporation tax returns are filed on time
• To manage receivable financing facility including draw downs, offer statements, EOM reconciliations and other related tasks
• Cash management
• To oversee the credit control function
• To analyse financial and operational results, identifying trends and highlighting areas for concern / investigation
• Payroll administration
• Managing and developing direct report
• To co-ordinate the month end closing process and ensure clients are billed on time

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CPA etc)
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Accounting and Finance roles
• Experience of setting up a finance department for a SME, preferred
• Working knowledge of state and federal tax regimes in Australia
• Hands on and attentive to details
• Commercial awareness of business operations, strong Analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Understanding of online advertising industry preferred
• Excellent time management skills and experience of working to deadlines
